Story

My name is Utip Sunday Akpan. I am 82 years old, and I am reaching out for help during a very vulnerable time in my life.

Due to my age and declining health, I am currently living with blindness, which has taken away my independence and made daily life extremely difficult. Simple tasks now require assistance, and accessing proper medical attention has become a serious challenge due to limited resources.

In addition to my health condition, I am also facing a painful reality: I do not have a stable house to live in. At my age, lacking safe shelter has been physically and emotionally exhausting. Exposure to harsh weather and unsafe living conditions has worsened my situation and made recovery and rest nearly impossible.

Being elderly, blind, and without a home has left me completely dependent on the kindness of others. Unfortunately, I do not have the financial means to secure medical care or stable housing on my own.

I am humbly asking for support to help me with:

• Medical attention and care

• Housing aid for safe shelter

• Basic needs to live with dignity
