Welcome to Donorr. By accessing or using our website, services, and fundraising platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”).
1. About Donorr
Donorr is a technology-based fundraising platform that enables individuals, organizations, and non-profits to raise funds from the public. Donorr does not guarantee campaign success and does not act as a charity, bank, or financial advisor.
2. Eligibility
- You must be at least 18 years old
- You must provide truthful and complete information
- You are responsible for complying with all applicable laws
3. Campaign Creation & Responsibility
Campaign creators are solely responsible for campaign accuracy, legality, use of funds, and communication with donors. Misrepresentation or misuse of funds is strictly prohibited.
4. Verification & Approval
Donorr takes verification seriously. Before approving or maintaining a campaign, we may request identification, documents, invoices, medical or school records, recorded videos, or live video calls.
Failure to complete verification may result in delayed approval, suspension, fund holding, or permanent removal.
5. Platform Fees (20% Breakdown)
Donorr charges a total platform fee of up to 20%, which is transparently broken down as follows:
- 7.5% – Value Added Tax (VAT)
- 7% – 9% – Payment processor fees (card processing, fraud prevention, chargebacks)
- Remaining balance – Platform maintenance, hosting, security, verification, customer support, and operational costs
Fees may vary slightly depending on payment method and region and are displayed before withdrawals.
6. Donations, Refunds & Chargebacks
- Donations are voluntary and generally non-refundable
- Refunds may occur in cases of fraud, platform error, or legal obligation
- Chargebacks may result in fund reversals and account review
7. Withdrawals & Fund Holding
Withdrawals may be subject to holding periods, verification completion, and fraud checks. Donorr reserves the right to delay, freeze, or reverse payouts during investigations.
8. Sponsorships & Promotions
Donorr offers paid sponsorships and a limited free sponsorship program. Free sponsorships are typically reserved for verified video listings and may be selected randomly or based on urgency and severity.
9. Campaign Removal & Fund Handling
Donorr may remove campaigns that violate these Terms. In such cases, funds may be refunded to donors, held during investigation, or forfeited where legally required.
10. Intellectual Property
You retain ownership of your content but grant Donorr a worldwide, royalty-free license to display, promote, and distribute campaign materials for platform purposes.
11. Limitation of Liability
Donorr is provided “as is.” We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including loss of funds or campaign failure.
12. Governing Law & Force Majeure
These Terms are governed by applicable laws where Donorr operates. Donorr is not liable for delays or failures caused by events beyond reasonable control.
