Verification Policy

Trust and transparency are at the core of Donorr. This policy explains how we verify campaigns and users.

Last updated: January 2026

This Verification Policy outlines how Donorr reviews, verifies, approves, and monitors campaigns and user accounts. By using Donorr, you agree to comply with this policy.

1. Why Verification Matters

Donorr is committed to protecting donors and maintaining platform integrity. Verification helps reduce fraud, misrepresentation, and misuse of funds while building trust between donors and campaign creators.

2. Who Must Be Verified

  • All campaign creators
  • Campaign beneficiaries (where applicable)
  • Accounts requesting withdrawals
  • Campaigns selected for sponsorship or promotion

3. Information We May Request

To complete verification, Donorr may request one or more of the following:

  • Government-issued photo identification
  • Proof of identity or relationship to beneficiary
  • Supporting documents (medical bills, tuition invoices, receipts)
  • Campaign-related photos or videos
  • Recorded or live video verification
  • Any additional proof deemed necessary

4. Video Verification

Video verification may include recorded videos or live video calls. Campaign creators may be asked to clearly explain their situation, confirm identity, and present relevant documents on camera.

Certain features, including free sponsorship eligibility, require verified video listings.

5. Review & Approval Process

Verification reviews are conducted by Donorr’s internal team. Approval timelines may vary depending on campaign complexity, document availability, and response time.

  • Verification is not guaranteed
  • Additional information may be requested
  • Campaigns may remain pending during review

6. Free Sponsorship Verification

Donorr may sponsor campaigns at no cost based on urgency, severity, and platform impact. To be eligible:

  • The campaign must be fully verified
  • A verified video listing is mandatory
  • Image-only campaigns are not eligible
  • Selection may be random or severity-based

Free sponsorship is discretionary and not guaranteed.

7. Ongoing Monitoring

Verification is not a one-time process. Donorr may conduct ongoing reviews and request updated information to ensure continued compliance.

8. Failed or Refused Verification

If verification is refused or fails:

  • Campaign approval may be denied
  • Funds may be held or frozen
  • Campaigns may be suspended or removed
  • Accounts may be restricted or terminated

9. False Information & Fraud

Providing false, misleading, or fabricated information is strictly prohibited. Verified fraud may result in:

  • Immediate campaign removal
  • Forfeiture or refund of funds
  • Permanent account suspension
  • Legal reporting where required

10. Policy Updates

Donorr may update this Verification Policy at any time. Continued use of the platform constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
